I have been watching a shit ton of Hayao Miyazaki films Wondering if he is a Marxist Something that I'm not has been masquerading itself within and without me But I'll sit here and watch until it's gone But it justifies My intuition, that I'm free And it hides away All the lies that tell me, what I need I have been in far too many pointless friendships But the truth be told, there's only been some Friends they come and go, never knowing if they'd be the one to keep it all together I wonder if they know, that I'm the one that's gone They never justify My intuition, that I'm free But it fortifies All the lies that tell me what I need And out of all of those secrets that are best left unsaid It seems that one has escaped my head, but at least I'm more free And no amount of disarray can wipe all those tears away But I just fade, away And out of all of those secrets that are best left unsaid It seems that one has escaped my head, but at least I'm more free And no amount of disarray can wipe all those tears away But I just fade, away

We are all so lonely Vast world, yet nobody Raised on a digital landscape Just cain't seem to find a break Can't sleep every night Feel like I gotta make up the lost time Blue lights, they glare in my eyes At least I can indulge my lies Show me why Tell me why Why we can't escape This device This big lie That we all embrace It begins With the sin Of the way we are Cut off all the things that we find Blasted with corporate broadcasts Mind bent to the will of the money bag Getting paid, just to consume again That's what it is now living on the weekend It could be, that we have some friends The ones who make it all worth the end Let's move on, leaving without a trace Maybe that's why we're here in the first place Show me why Tell me why Why we can't escape This device This big lie That we all embrace It begins With the sin Of the way we are Cut off all the things that we find

You, light the fire and the soul begins It's ripe with desire and falls to sin And we know the story, you hear it now and then Cause that circle of suffering spins once again That circle of suffering spins once again The fear of dying has come to take its hold A knife cuts the skin but mars not the soul Lines in the skin they map the road to hell And that beacon of authority has come to take and tell And that beacon of authority has come to take and tell And the soul leaves the body All around the way It's ripe for the harvest And that day it is today

I feel nothing Though I walk through this dream Death is distant Yet plagues my self-esteem You look to those Who say you amount to none Death is silent Yet we still run

about

This EP is primarily a collection of songs that I wrote and messed around with over quarantine. This is also my first time ever recording my own music, having done everything that is heard by myself in my bedroom. It's not perfect, and in fact barely even falls under the genre tags of Folk Punk and Black Metal. But, I have worked very hard and these songs have been a creative and emotional outlet for me and I'm excited to finally release them. They may not be great but I know my friends will appreciate them!
